Unique Friends Upcoming Events and News 2017
Did you know Unique Friends is officially 1 year old !!!
We are really pleased to be able to offer families the opportunity to attend fully inclusive sessions/trips and activities, make new friends and spend time together.
Our trip to Stockheld Park on Monday 21st August was a huge success and everyone who attended had a fantastic day. We have had some really positive feedback from our members. One of our members said "It's the best day of the holidays so far". We are really pleased you enjoyed it.
We have successfully applied to City Healthcare Partnership based in Hull for a grant of £400 to offer inclusive sports and fun activity sessions for the whole family to take part in. These will be delivered in partnership with Sportsability who are based in Hull and specialise in offering sessions specifically aimed at children/adults with disabilities. We are delighted to be able to offer you these sessions.
Katy and Shell two of our trustees attended the Hull and East Riding Mumbler family funday at Hallmark Hotel on Sunday 20th August and raised £33.40 on our stall there. They also linked in with other organisations that will be able offer actvities to the group. Thank you for giving up your time to attend this event.
There is lots of work going on behind the scenes planning the future of the group. All of the trustees put a lot of time and effort into providing the sessions etc. We are all excited for what the future has in store for us as a group.
If you have any ideas or want to become involved, please see a committee member for more information.
